Last Day Lightning

This picture of lightning striking somewhere below was the last photo I took on my last day working on top of Pikes Peak on my way to the van down.

Low Effort Snow Picture

Snow at any time of the year, even early in August, is always possible on the Summit of Pikes Peak.

Couple at Sunrise

A couple looks out to the sun coming over a sea of clouds covering the Colorado Springs area from the Pikes Peak Summit. I did not take this picture – it was taken by the Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway’s webcam and was edited by me.

Stellar Sunset

This was definitely one of the best sunsets that I was able to witness from the Summit of Pikes Peak.

Shadow of the Mountain

The shadow of Pikes Peak to the east was especially prevalent during this day’s sunset.

Mount Evans Road

These pictures clearly aren’t from Pikes Peak, but are instead from the Mount Evans, which like Pikes Peak, has a paved road all of the way to the summit.

Almost Clear Sunset

It’s actually pretty rare for there not to be any clouds in the sky at sunset on the Pikes Peak Summit.
